[B-Greek] Syntax of Mk 6:22 (UBS)

I do thnk that those are "co-referential", however, I don't believe that it truly "breaks the cohesion of the narrative." That would be to expect an overly exact accounting of the relationship. Why should we expect more from these ancient texts than we are able to find every day in our ordinary conversation. Herod was acting in loco parentis and is therefore spoken of as her father. If this were a law court, then we might expect precision, but the gospel is not a court of law.

Which raises the question is THi MHTRI AUTHS (MK 6:24,28)
coreferential with hHRWiDIADA THN GUNAIKA FILIPPOU TOU ADELFOU AUTOU
(Mk 6:17)? Narrative cohesion would appear to require a positive
answer to this question. It looks like the UBS reading is more than
just a difficult reading. It is a reading that breaks the cohesion of
the narrative.
