This looks like it might be an adverbial use of TELEION, and an idiom. What
does "to have its work completely" or "to have its perfect work" mean? BDAG
suggests, "Let endurance show itself perfectly in practice". I'm tempted to
treat ERGON in this context as "effect", thus, "Let endurance have its full
effect".
Any wisdom would be appreciated.
