Hi Brothers,
I thank the Lord and you all for your interest in answering questions about
biblical Greek. I'm a novice in the study of koine, so this question may be
a very simple one. Nevertheless, if any correction is needed, I appreciate
it wholeheartedly!
Is there any meaningful difference between the following two phrases?
H AGAPH TOU QEOU and H AGAPH QEOU? The genitive case of QEOU is essentially
covered in each case, without the need of the article, correct? If so, then
what's the purpose of the article before QEOU?
Thanks all,
