Yes, I think it's also in the short names of the three formats of L&S  
published by OUP:

"the little Liddell" (Abridged Greek Lexicon)

"the middle Liddell" (Intermediate Greek Lexicon)

"the great Scott" (unabridged -- now LSJG)
