Although the focus is on Classical Attic, since the work to be done
is essentially morphology and syntax, there might be some B-Greekers
who would find it fruitful to become involved in this simple
composition on-line group. Here's the basic info from the web-site
(http://summergreek.googlepages.com/):

=======
General Information

This website contains information about the intensive summer review
of Attic Greek morphology on the GreekStudy list. Like all
GreekStudy groups, it is free and open to anyone. This website
should contain all the information you need to subscribe and join
in. The group will run from Monday, June 18th through Friday August
31st.

The textbook will be Hillard and Botting's Elementary Greek
Exercises. It is a Greek composition book which covers most or all
of first-year Greek morphology (it was designed to lead up to North
and Hillard's Greek Prose Composition), while keeping the vocabulary
and sentence constructions quite simple. It should thus be ideally
suited as a pinpoint review of morphology.

The text is available in reprint both from Focus Publishing and
Duckworth. I've also scanned two weeks worth of exercises from a
public domain edition (I can add more as we go along if needs be) as
well as the special vocabulary lists for all the exercises (see Links
below). Please be aware, however, that the textbook also contains a
general vocabulary as well as model Greek sentences which I will most
likely not be scanning, so it may be worthwhile for all participants
to purchase the book (both reprints are under $13 US).

Like all GreekStudy groups, the Hillard and Botting group works by
each participant doing the assigned work for a given lesson and
emailing his or her answers to the facilitator (me) who then collates
all of the answers and posts them to the list. Members can then
compare their answers to everyone else's, post questions or comments
to the list, etc..

To participate you need only to be subscribed to the GreekStudy list
and have a copy of the text (or my PDF scans). Included below are
links to the GreekStudy subscription page, the Amazon.com pages for
both the Focus and Duckworth versions of the book, my scans for the
lessons and vocabularies, as well as the Textkit page for one of the
reference grammars to which Hillard and Botting is keyed (First Greek
Grammar by W. Gunion Rutherford).
