At one time I was quite adept at diagramming English sentences (either in HS or prior thereto), and then when I was in Seminary Bastiaan Van Elderen had us diagramming sentences in Greek, but I haven't really done much of that for many years now. You will find that diagramming Greek sentences is somewhat different and more difficult than diagramming English sentences. It would most likely serve to assure that you take a careful look at the relationship between the words and can discern the concord between them (except when something is written differently "according to the sense." I tend to think, however, that a careful reading of the text would function as well.
