This is interesting...because my Greek prof always
pronounced LOGOS as LAHGAHS. Modern Greek pronounces it as
with long Omicrons for both parts.

I've heard that SBL has now selected Modern Greek
as the official pronunciation for Koine. Does anyone know if that
is true?

I like Modern Greek simply because some of the words can be used
with Greeks that one may run into from time to time.

So using the modern Greek it should be pronounced like these two
Englsih words put together...."Low Goes" (with a gutteral G)
