List,

I am working my way through an intermediate Greek study of prepositions
(D.B. Wallace). In looking at EN, Wallace makes the comment in connection
with Eph 5:18, that there are few if no occurrences of EN + dative, in
connection with PLEROW, where the dative substantive indicates content.
Content is usually indicated by the genitive. No porblemo!

However, in trying to determine instances where EN + dative might indicated
content, I found that in Acts (which is my narrower sphere of interest) the
idea of filled is the verb PLEQW. But I cannot find that entry in BADG.
What is my problem? Am I nuts? I wanted to see if there are any instances
of PLEQW and EN + dative.

It appears upon a cursory glance that PLEQW also indicates content using the
genitive. but it would be nice to know how to look up the combination of
verb and preposition. I know that that there is a place to do that online,
but I have forgotten where!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
