Dear John,
> In Daniel 4:37c of the Old Greek LXX, I have run onto a question. The
> NET Bible has translated oti esti qeos as "that God is one" which I
> understand that to be the sense, but literally it would be "that He is
> God." The verse reads "apodeixai umin kai tois sofistais umwn oti est
> qeos" Further, it seemed good to me to prove to you and your wisemen
> that He is God or God is one. I am looking for some additional
> thoughts. Thank you!

Where does NET Bible do this? The rendering NET Bible online gives for
Dan 4:37 is the following:
4:37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of
heaven, for all his deeds are right and his ways are just. He is able to
bring down those who live in pride.
Yours,
Harold Holmyard
