TOIS WSIN and TOIS OFQALMOIS are instrumental uses of the dative ("with your ears" and "with your eyes").
TOIS EQNESIN is dative ("to the peoples/nations/Gentiles.")

Is this what you were asking, or did I misunderstand?

Subject: [B-Greek] Help with a sentence

Hi all
This is my 1st post using ASC11 so if I made a mistake, forgive me. This is from the Machen book, chapter 28, exercise 424. I need help with this one. Why the article in dative pl? And can you help translating this whole sentence? I'm having trouble with his use of I'd think a substantive article, although I'm not sure. He uses these often, and I always have a bit of trouble with them. Any help on how to understand the use of the article in cases like this would be very helpful.

Grace and peace
