Still trying to understand tenses. (Thank you Dr.
Conrad for your reply on the Perfect (able to function
as Pluperfect. Is that information mentioned in
standard Grammar books?)
In this verse, I'm trying to understand the nuance of
HN and EICEN. This man "he was being(?) rich" and "was
having a steward..." Does the Imperfect here denote an
ongoing role of managing his affairs while the Aorist
would have simply stated a historical fact (not
emphasizing his ongoing/daily duty)?
