[B-Greek] omision of the definite article

To make a side comment, which doesn't address the specific passage 
being discussed:

Another case where the omission of the definite article creates a possibly
"interesting" translational situation occurs in the Centurion's proclamation
in Mt 27.54, which is typically translated as:
    "Truly this man was the son of God!"

but which could arguably be translated (at least) as accurately --but perhaps
more controversially-- as:
    "Truly this man was a son of God!"


(On the other hand, I've always been rather fond of how the NRSV's
handles this:
    "Truly this man was God's son!"  ;-)
