Subject: [B-Greek] Unicode text-encoding enabled?
Hi
Looking at some of the replies I receive, where the Greek font of my
original email now shows as being garbled at the end of the other
persons reply, perhaps I am one of the culprits with poor use of
UTF-8. When I compose the emails, the Greek font all looks fine, but
it would seem that others do not receive them fine.
I am using Mail 2.1.2 for emails on my Mac OS 10.4.11.
I have just turned on the option: Message>Text Coding>Unicode (UTF-8).
I hope this change will help.
Here is test line in Greek from Luke 24:52. Could one or two readers
advise how it appears to them?
Και αὐτοὶ προσκυνήσαντες αὐτὸν
KAI AUTOI PROSKYNHSANTES AUTON
I have typed this test line using Greek Polytonic as opposed to Greek
as an option under font types. Could someone please tell me the
differences between these two options?
Regards
Jonathan
