This is a reading found in codex 967 of the OG version of Daniel 5:7. The Aramaic found in the MT is gazerin, and Theodotion transliterated that. The 967 scribe either made an error or copied from an error of the LXX or the LXX translators had a different reading in their Vorlage. I was just curious if anyone knew if GARADHNOUS is a possible transliteration of the Aramaic or whether their is an Aramaic word that it could have been transliterated from? Also in 2:27 the 967 used GARADHNWN, and in 5:8 the reading appears to be GARAZHNOI. I would appreciate any help! Thank you!
