I am kind'a confused ('kwonfused') with these terms in English -
niece, nephew, cousin, (also in my native tongue), courtesy of rather
isolated life in this new world. I have to check with my family all
the time so that I won't be embarrassed to call someone wrong.

ODE has the first entry for cousin:

1. †A collateral relative more distant than a brother or sister; a
kinsman or kinswoman, a relative; formerly very frequently applied to
a nephew or niece. Obs.

It seems to cover both well.

By the way what degree of relation Col 3:10 and 4:10? Answer is one chapter.

Oun.
