I would go with Philippians whose Greek I think is a bit
easier but more importantly more satisfying because more
vivid and personal and dramatic and forceful and fun. Everything in the
NT is great, but Philippians is one of my favorites in Greek and in
English.

Hi all
I'm finishing up S. Baugh's 1 John graded reader in a month. It is a
book that they use at WTS Calf. for 2nd year students. Some syntax help and a
re-cap of first year as your going through the 12 chapters, which takes you
through 1 John helping with words & harder syntax. I thought the book was very
helpful.
But my question is I want to start another book of the Bible and I have 2
help books, Philippians A Greek students Intermediate reader (I also have
O'Brien in the TNIGT series on Philippians, which can help me) The 2nd is
Colossians & Philemon by Murray Harris, with a help book by O'Brien on Colossians
from the WBC series. Which would be a better book to try to read, Philippians or
Colossians as my second project?
I do have other TNIGT commentary books, 1 & 2 Thessalonians which I'm told
people use 1st Thessalonians as a book to tackle for an intermediate student
like myself.
I really need the help, because I'm learning on my own.
Thanks again for all the help you all give to people such as me!
Grace and peace
