Ladies and Gentlemen:
A quick-and-easy question if I may, in the interests of exactness:
1. I note from Smyth s418 that 2S-P-A-I of DEIKNUMI is DEIKNUS.
2. Mounce BBG p364 listing his athematic paradigms, has the same being DEIKNUEIS
3. Mounce MBG p308 v-3c(2) notes also that athematic DEIKNUMI has a thematic variation, DEIKNUW.
Is it reasonable to assume that for the athematic conjugation, Smyth is correct and that Mounce has, in the instance of 2S-P-A-I, introduced the thematic form in his athematic conjugation?
