With reference to the syntax (not semantics) of TE (the conjunction)
G.Cooper 2.69.70.0 states "The narrow but clear distinction between
conjunctional TE and other connecting conjunctions appears in places
where single words or clauses are conjoined by KAI or DE, and then TE
comes in to complete the series, making of the last item a concluding
addition." see also A.T.Robertson p.1179.

On the subject of SAMENESS, G.Cooper 2.69.70.0 "The pregnancy and
peremptoriness of TE allows it to conjoin ideas which are really
disparate and seemingly incommensurate with one another."
