Ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ λόγος, καὶ ὁ λόγος ἦν πρὸς τὸν θεόν, καὶ θεὸς ἦν ὁ λόγος.
EN ARXHi HN hO LOGOS, KAI hO LOGOS HN PROS TON QEON, KAI QEOS HN hO LOGOS
If I were to posit any ellipsis, it would be more like
Ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ λόγος, καὶ ὁ λόγος ἦν πρὸς τὸν θεόν πατέρα, καὶ θεὸς ἦν ὁ λόγος.
EN ARXHi HN hO LOGOS, KAI hO LOGOS HN PROS TON QEON PATERA, KAI QEOS HN hO LOGOS.
I don't, however, think that too likely.

Subject: [B-Greek] Possible ellipsis in Jn 1:1
Lately this idea came to be. Is it possible to understand Jn 1:1 this way?
EN ARCHi hHN hO LOGOS KAI hO LOGOS hHN PROS TON QEON
KAI hWS hO QEOS (PATHR) hHN QEOS
KAI QEOS hHN hO LOGOS
Here, I have added on the second line what might have been an ellipsis
(on the semantic level).
Did I put Greek correctly? Should I remove KAI at the beginning of
this clause? Something may be better than KAI on the third line?
I wanted to say 'as the God (Father) is God, so is the Logos' and
here I take the anarthrous QEOS 'God' with adjectival meaning in a
sense of 'God-being'.
Thank you for help.
Oun Kwon.
