There are two words MHN (and one MEN): one is a particle, which I believe
is found only once in the NT (Heb. 6:14), and other is the word "month"
you mentioned, which is much more common. In Mounce's morphology the
participle is classified as a participle and the noun is n-3f(1a), which
means that it is a third declension noun that ends in a N but shows no
ablaut.
