Two very valuable resources for reading Homer online or
on your own PC are as follows:
1) The Chicago Homer from Northwestern University:
http://www.library.northwestern.edu/homer/
2) The software Okus. Search the internet for it. It can be downloaded for
free from sites like Cnet or ZdNet. It's really cool software and has the
Homeric hymns and many tools along with vocabuarly I believe.

Perhaps Homer did not help my NT that much, but it made me fall in love with Greek.

All,
Thanks a lot for your input. My interest in Homer is not really to help my
reading of the N.T., but it is simply another challenge that seemed
worthwhile. Your comments have been helpful and I appreciate the links to
the vocabulary.
