Eddie,
This is simply an abridgement of BDAG. About 1/3 the length, 1/3 the
price. If you can afford BDAG, get it instead--or besides :)
My $.02,
James

Subject: [B-Greek] Danker's new Dictionary
Danker's new book (Concise Lexicon) moves in the direction of what I've
been arguing for some time now on this blog. The last sentence of this
review is basically the position I've been trying to espouse. It
reads...
Danker's Concise Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament will prove
to be similarly invaluable to ministers, seminarians, translators, and
students of biblical Greek. Unlike other lexica of the Greek New
Testament, which give only brief glosses for headwords, The Concise
Greek-English Lexicon offers extended definitions or explanations in
idiomatic English for all Greek terms.
I say this is moving in the right direction in that I see it just as
critical to provide the FULL meaning of a word or phrase in a
translation. I have a few ideas of how to do this without having to
produce a translation too heavy to carry, one would be like the NET
Bible format.
