I'm not sure if it's impossible to translate this as you're proposing, although I'm thinking that if the subject of MNHSQHNAI is different from that of ANTELABETO, the syntax would have to be a bit more complex, such as EIS TO MNHSQHNAI AUTOUS (if that's a normal argumentation for ANTILAMBANOMAI). Also, the subject of MNHSQHNAI in the somewhat parallel v.72 is clearly God, and the phrasing recalls the prayer of Habakkuk 3:2, EN ORGH ELEOUS MNHSQHSH.
