Carl,
I agree, EGW is a "marked" constituent here. EDMAUTON is also marked,
I could not find a single instance of LOGIZOMAI (first pers. sing.
pres, perf, imper, aorist) with EDMAUTON before Phil 3:13.

I am still having trouble with this, per our off list discussion. I
read Smyth on the infinitive in indirect discourse and the infinitive
with a subject coreferential with the finite (main) verb and in all
cases the subject of the infinitive was in the accusative. Perhaps I
am still misunderstanding after all your help.
