The Orthodox Church is using as its authorized text of the NT the
Antoniades version, 1rst edition 1094, and second corrected edition
1912.

This text is available in http://www.myriobiblos.gr/bible/ and in
comparison to other text types in http://www.biblos.com/ as well as in
other sites.  The 1912 edition of Antoniades text is available upon
request from Nikolaos.Adamou at gmail.com in a pdf format, and soon the
1904 edition is going to be available for a parallel study.

The most recent review of this work reevaluating previous assessment
is available in:

The English translation and an early disfavorable evaluation Antoniades' text are available in:

ed. By Ernest Cadman Colwell & Donald W. Riddle,

Patriarch Konstantinos 5th, 1897 - 1901, is the responsible person for
the production of this work.  He studied Theology in Chalke
Theological School, (1852-1857), University of Athens (1859-1962), and
he did his graduate studies in Switzerland (1870-1871), Heidelberg
(1871-1872) and Strasbourg (1868-1870).  During his studies he
realized the importance of restoring the text of New Testament used in
the Orthodox Church.

In 1896 a committee of the Patriarchal Synod was appointed with
members the Metropolitan of Sardis Michael, the Metropolitan
Stavroupoleos Apostolos, and the professor of Chalke Theological
School Vassilios Antoniades, in order to restore the text of NT in
agreement with the oldest text of the tradition, in particular with
the Church of Constantinople.

While in his forced by Ottoman ruler’s retirement in the Theological
School of Chalke, he financed from his own money the first edition of
the NT in 1904.

In 1870 he wrote a dissertation on Ecclesiastical (Byzantine) Music
that was published in “NEOLOGO” of Constantinople.

It is noticeable his contribution in publishing the “Typikon” of the
patriarchate as it is in practice up to today, as well as the
liturgical books of “Horologion” and “Ieratikon”.
