John,

I believe the only way in 4.x is to visit the link below, download; then
install the Keyboards for Greek and Hebrew. Unzip and read the PDFs for
directions. I don't know what you're running for an operating system, but
they do work in Win 7 and in x64 or x32. You can toggle once installed as
well.

Someone else using it longer may know a better way.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I find the Layouts to be helpful for a
beginner. (I continue create lots of them) The phonetic word study feature
is also helpful in 4.x. g:agape. Good luck.

Hi everyone,

Could someone tell me whether there is a simple way to use
Logos 4 to type messages in Greek and Hebrew?

When I started out on my return to Greek, one of the things
that folk said I would need was a computer-based package.
I knew they were right (though it was not what I wanted to
hear), so I read the archives for comments on the packages
... and eventually bought the Logos 4 Original Languages
Pack together with the Stuttgart Electronic Study Bible and
BDAG.

And it terrifies me. I have all this powerful software
sitting in my laptop and I don't know how to use it. So
far I have just used it for reading the books in the library,
occasionally right-clicking on a word to look it up in the
dictionaries.

I feel sure that it must contain a way to type in Greek and
Hebrew, but I haven't found it yet.

Can anyone help?

Later,

Dr Owl
