Daniel EGRAPSE,
One gaffe stuck out to me, however, and that was the reference to "red
Pentecost." I'm sure that should be "Red Pentecost," but I'm not sure at all
where the "red" comes from. Is there a corresponding Koine expression used
in Byzantine literature?
Most Protestants have trouble with this. You'll understand the reference
better if you think visually and in terms of the lectionary and the
Christian calendar. See http://www.crivoice.org/colorsof.html and all will
be clear.
