[B-Greek] Searching the TLG

Lauren,

I do not think the kind of searches you would like are possible with the
TLG. What comes close to meeting this expectation is the Perseus site, where
you have the possibility of quickly turning to the English version of the
classical texts or searching the English text and reverting to the Greek
one.

The TLG is an awesome tool, provided one is proficient enough with Greek.
In other words, the TLG gives you everything or nothing. It is too bad that
it cannot be made useful for people with, say, intermediate knowledge of
Greek (who are familiar mostly the LXX and NT). I come fairly within this
category.

I hope someone responds to this. I really want to be able to search TLG (for
Greek terms) with its English equivalent. (translation) But, feel stumped by
it.
Thanks.

  Hello,

I would like to know if anyone could recommend a software tool for
searching the TLG Disc E. There seem to be quite few tools, but I am not
sure which would be best, in terms of searching capabilities (combinations
of words, certain fixed expressions or morphological searches).

  Many thanks
Emanuel Contac
