I would suggest that this participle (μετοχη, METOXH), is adverbial
(επιρρημα, EPIRRhHMA) to the verb (ρημα, RhHMA) διερμηωευσεν DIERMHWEUSEN
providing a circumstance in which he, Jesus, interprets.
