Ken,

Fanning takes Caragounis to task in Bulletin of Biblical Research (don't
remember which issue); you should be able to access it electronically, I
think.

Also, Mike Aubrey has mentioned Caragounis' views several times on his
blog:

James

Subject: [B-Greek] Caragounis on Porter on Aspect

I've been reading the section on time and aspect of the verb in
Caragounis' book, _The Development of Greek and the New Testament_. I
have not read the big books on aspect by Porter, Fanning, etc. (other
priorities and the last thing I need is another big expensive book to
not read :-) ). I'm curious to know if anyone on the list has read
Porter's book on aspect and the critique of Porter's position by
Caragounis and can comment on how well Caragounis portrays Porter's
position.

Ken
