[B-Greek] Can QEOS be used in apposition to MONOGENHS inJohn 1:18-revised

It is interesting that the first English gloss of MONOGENHS listed in
LSJ is "only" (child) not because the word means "only begotten" but
because it means "only member of a kin or kind"
As a matter of fact, not one of the descriptions given has to do with begotten.
Middle Liddell says it is related to GIGNOMAI.  (Rather than to GENNAW
[BdH]) This may not be that meaningful though since GIGNOMAI and
GENNAW are related words.

At the other end of the time spectrum, a small Modern Greek dictionary
I have has "one and only" for MONOGENHS.
