Gotcha, it's inside Table Talk VII in Loeb Plutarch's Moralia vol.ix (697c-771e).
http://www.archive.org/stream/moraliainfifteen09plutuoft#page/54/mode/2up
"(2) and page of Wyttenbach" given by LSJ's abbreviation table
corresponds to the Stephanus (1572) numbering used inside Loeb.
WSPER GAR OI MAGOI TOUS DAIMONIZOMENOUS KELEUOUSI
TA EFESIA GRAMMATA PROS AUTOUS KATALEGEIN KAI ONOMAZEIN,..

No bGreek question here. All done.

PS - J. the Vitae would be gratefully received. Thanks for the offer.

Steve, I have volumes 1-5 of Vitae Parallelae, edited by C
(Karl) Sitenis  as referred to below.  They're way out of copyright and
available freely online.  I'll send them to you.

Jonathan Burke.

does anyone have a handy link which would help me narrow this down. I will eventually find it - Vol.1-4 are Wyttenbach's edition of the text, 5-6 his notes. But does anyone for example know of an online library catalogue that has the content list for Vol.II
