[B-Greek] Off topic post (re Kassia CD with Greek sung texts and translations)

Off topic! And difficult to pretend this counts as a NT-Greek aid, though about 70% of the vocabulary in the songs is also NT....

Byzantine chant isn't everyone's cup of tea but thought I'd post a quick note to the list for anyone who is waiting to find out whether the Christophorus label's new recording of chant by the abbess Kassia (810-850AD)  has texts and translations? Yes it does, in legible Greek font not romanization, English explanation of each song's context and English text translation. The singing is excellent, clear prounciation. A bit short measure at 45min, but to my knowledge the first full CD of the earliest surviving Greek composer.

Only problem - it'll be a month before Amazon.com catches up with her German sister:
