Hello all,

I finally got a link to some audio files of Gleason Archer reading "The Sermon on the Mount." The audio was part of Heaven-Word's GreekMaster software (now out of print). Many thanks to Dr. Louis Tyler (Hebrew-Greek Audio Bible) and Don Potter (donpotter.net) for providing links to these resources. I would be great if the audio of Gleason Archer could be separated from the software produced by HeavenWord.

This recording was done by Gleason Archer in his later days. Archer was Professor Emeritus of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has since passed this world into the gates of glory. Dr. Archer was an avid Greek reader since
the age of 14 and was fluent in Greek, Hebrew, and 26 other languages!
Archer recorded all of the UBS 4th Edition Greek Text, some of the recordings (about 6) are the entire book read in a conversational manner.

Archer reads in Erasmian, but pronounces υ Υ as [i:]. I find his accents always correct. He reads with emotion and inflexion.

You can listen to several samples at http://www.letsreadgreek.com/resources/greekntaudio.htm#archer The samples for Matthew 6 and 7 are a little muffled, but Mt 5 is clear.
