Thanks Stephen! When you read what he says before and after he makes clear he is seeing TO PNEUMA as the subject. It can be found in his “Homilies on Second Corinthians” Homily VII.

Sincerely,
Blue Harris

There are some examples even in Paul, e.g., 2 Cor 3:2 hH EPISTOLH
hHMWN hUMEIS ESTE ("you are our letter"), similarly 1 Cor 9:1, 2.
There is also 1 Cor 11:25 TOUTO TO POTHRION hH KAINH DIAQHKH ESTIN EN
TWi EMWi hAIMATI ("this cup is the new covenant in my blood").
Colwell's famous article on the article (!) lists more examples
throughout the N.T.

We'll have to be careful with this English translation.  'Now the
Spirit is the Lord' is just the translator's rendition of hO DE KURIOS
TO PNEUMA ESTI, which is an exact quote of the very clause in
question.  As for the rest, I don't quite see what exactly in this
portion of Chrysostom indicates what his view of the subject and
predicate is.
