"EIPEN DE AUTOIS, hUMEIS DE TINA ME LEGETE EINAI; PETROS DE APOKRIQEIS EIPEN, TON CRISTON TOU QEOU" ('Luke' 9:20).

"TON CRISTON TOU QEOU" here is parallel to "TINA" (also accusative). "SE LEGW EINAI" is understood - lit. "I say you to be the Son of God", "I say that you are the Son of God".

  In Luke 9:20:  Why is TON XRISTON TOU THEOU in the accusative?  Shouldn't it be nominative because of the unspoken "You are......."
