Dear all,
I'm making a comparison between Sir 45:5 and Br 3:9.
Sir has "nomos zo?s" (law of life) while Br has "entol?i zo?s" (commandments
of life).
Do you think that the concept underliying these two concepts ("nomos" and
"entol?i") is quite the same?
If not, which would be the difference or differences between them?
Pere Porta
Considering that NOMON in Ben Sira 45:5 is in apposition to the immediately preceding ENTOLAS, I'd say there's no meaningful difference between NOMON ZWHS and ENTOLAI ZWHS.
