Unless you wish to deny that the location being considered is Jerusalem, I'm not sure why you would wish to connect ὅπου καὶ ὁ κύριος αὐτῶν ἐσταυρώθη hOPOU KAI hO KURIOS AUTWN ESTAURWQH with ἥτις καλεῖται πνευματικῶς hHTIS KALEITAI PNEUMATIKWS.  I see no grounds for such an understanding.  Clearly the author is attempting to localize the event and to characterize the locale in unfavorable terms.  I think the ὅπου hOPOU refers back to τῆς πόλεως τῆς μεγάλης THS POLEWS THS MEGALHS which is characterized by two descriptions (1) its spiritual significance ἥτις καλεῖται hHTIS KALEITAI and (2) its specific identification with reference to what occurred there ὅπου ... ἐσταυρώθη hOPOU ... ESTAURWQH.

Subject: [B-Greek] How to understand Rev 11:8]

A conventional translation of Rev 11:8 would be:

>> Their corpses will lie in the main street of the great city, which
spiritually is called "Sodom" and "Egypt," where their lord was
crucified. <<

I was wondering if the clause "where their lord was crucified" could be
taken as being dependent of "spiritually". This has been suggested by Greg
Beale (in his commentary).
