In English "arnoume" or in my cap system ARNOYME

I write the Latin base with minimal deviation from the Greek national
keyboard,
so "Y" is YPSILON, as in the Greek keyboard.
and I write out "PS" and "KS" like in some ancient dialect inscriptions.
I do try to avoid "U" for theta (Greek national) and use Q on
this list (it is OKSYTONOS acute, in the Windows Greek national layout.
I also try to avoid Greek national "V" for WMEGA, otherwise it's pretty much

as the Greek keyboard, plus PS and KS for the affricates on list.
So ARNOYME is αρνουμε
which is a homograph with
ARNOYMAI αρνουμαι, as Carl correctly pointed out.

The typo errors work both ways. I have to do enough Greek typing that
it helps to have minimal interference. It doesn't help to have an
accute in place of a theta, or final sigma in place of wmega when
typing a Greek text for handouts and readings. But it happens, and
when it does I am properly corrected by friends.

And as I've argued on list, when push comes to shove, I would go with
Greek national over b-greek for touch typing.

blessings
Randall
