Mark,
I agree with you 100% for students and while using the language,
but I don't agree at all when it comes to preparing materials for students
to access.
Those materials need to be as clean as we can make them.
Two different standards for two different output.

Because of the lack of MT speakers, it is the materials designers that need
to assume some extra diligence.
