Me too.  I always want to know the root of a Greek word, not because I think 
this has much to do with the meaning, but because I think it helps (me anyway) 
remember the word.  This is the reason I prefer to use the Middle Liddell, 
instead of Cunlife or Autenreich, while reading Homer.  This is also one 
advantage Thayer has over Bauer.  It's the reason I think Trenchard is so 
helpful.
