Hi, Barry --
I like your "objective" take on the accent question. In addition, if you
read accented text correctly, it starts to sound more like the real language
it is. A Greek person once told me that pronouncing the accents correcly is
important in modern Greek. It also helps with memorizing vocabulary words
since you only memorize one form of the word. Just a thought.

P.S. My 21-year-old nephew was in a horrific bus accident this morning near
Syracus, NY. Any prayers or thoughts would be most appreciated. His jaw and
orbital area are broken/fractured but I don't have full information yet.
