And I am talking about the descendents of the Numenoreans, the men of the
West. The Syndarin (Sindarin, maybe, no time to check spelling) and
Quendarin were distinctly related, but quite different, much the same
relationship Latin and Greek had in developing from IE through proto-Greek
to proto-Italic, etc. Quendarin is also the language spoken by the low
elves.
