My basic point was that I understand QEOS in MONOGENHS QEOS in such a way that it can have a plural form--hence a "common noun," as I put it--John 10:34 illustrating this possibility from the same book. Traditionally, QEOS would be considered "monadic" in this phrase.
That is all that I should have said in reponse to the inquiry as to why I considered QEOS in this phrase to be a "common noun," the rest of my post, though supportive of my basic point in one way or another, not being really relevant to B-Greek. My apologies for that.
