Yes, I saw it, and it's certainly true. The participles are probably the chief glue holding
the Greek sentence, rightly called a "way around" a PERIODOS. I don't think it's
possible to exaggerate the importance of participles in Greek narrative.
I used to make a point of noting the sequence of Eph 1:3-14, a single string held t
ogether by relative clauses and participles -- and with syntax that is, at best, elusive.
