[B-Greek] Greek typing question

Hi, Sarah,

I used to have the Logos Greek keyboard on my computer. I was told at the time,
and noticed myself, that on certain sites the diacritics would not show up
properly. When my computer crashed, I decided to take the opportunity to try
the Windows Polytonic Keyboard instead. I would say that over all the
diacritics show up better with Windows, although one still has small problems on
various sites. I also think that Greek works better on Firefox than Internet
Explorer. But this may depend on one's computer and other factors, as different
people have different experiences and preferences.

I should also say that having used both Logos and Windows for extended periods
of time, there is no question in my mind that Logos is easier for typing the
accents, so I'm not prepared to recommend that you change.

Subject: [B-Greek] Greek typing question

Has anyone had difficulty with Greek characters not showing up correctly using
Logos biblical Greek keyboard? I have set up several systems with this, making
sure that Unicode fonts are installed, etc. Once in a while I get a computer
that will not give me diacritics, gives me capital letters in Word when the caps
lock is not on, etc. In the past, I have fixed this by checking the version of
Uniscribe; but Windows 7 doesn't like to let you fix this file. I am now
stumped. It is definitely the keyboard, as Greek from other sources displays
with no problem. I will try calling Logos on Monday but don't anticipate much
help so thought I would check here in case anyone had any ideas.
