Emil: I cannot recommend highly enough Bonnie MacLachlan's book The Age of Grace: Charis in Early Greek Poetry (Princeton University Press 1993), who convincingly posits (pgs. 118-21) hybris (excessive, one-sided behavior) as an antonym for chairein and cognates. My apologies if this is too tangential for your research. Best, Brian Carmany
