Seriously, when I SAY, "good and ready" it comes out as "good-n-ready."
Wayne mentioned "[t]hese pillows are lovely and soft," which to my ear
sounds like two characteristics.  I pronounce the `and' with that
sentence.  So, phonemologically, I use two different words.

Well, I don't know how much Greek is in here, but I hope this helps
the lurkers on the list have a better understanding of hendiadys.
