Albert, I'm perfectly happy to be corrected on this -- it was the first 
thing that occurred to me, and though I read the LXX on a regular basis, I 
am far from an expert on it.  Would you (or anyone) mind summarizing the 
arguments in the references given above for those of us who may not have 
immediate access, especially the VT article?  The paragraph pertaining to 
the subject (!) on p. 545 of the intro to the Psalms seems to suggest the 
"dative of reference."
