Why haven't I thought of it?! Thank you, so much.
One of the English translations (N.T.), actually my first choice
especially for beautiful elegant English style and diction (not
archaic KJV style), is by Cassirer. Somehow I missed to check his for
this.
It renders: 'It bears up patiently to the last; it trusts to the last;
it hopes to the last, it endures to the last.' It sounds almost like
'all the way'.
How I love thee, B-Greek and all!
Oun Kwon.
